Yeah, what’s the big deal here? Everytime this issue comes up, somebody else says ME, TOO, only then to have a moderator cry FOUL, roll your own, and then the question never gets resolved. Well, I too, have this problem, and cannot find a solution, and frankly have been looking for months, intermittently.

In reply to: [Custom Login] Password Retrieval Email FunctionThanks Austin, got that fixed a while back. So I guess there’s no way to add a field for the real name of registration applicants…

In reply to: [Responsive] Disabling "Leave A Reply" and "header data"…Emil, as I pointed out, rather unclearly it seems, all discussion settings have been unchecked. I read them through, and cannot fathom why any should be checked when I don’t even want to SEE that Leave A Reply form on ANY page. I watched our video, and learned nothing.
I actually have done the same operation successfully on another site I designed and maintain, using a different theme (http://loudouniwla.org), so I think somehow we are not communicating the same issues here.
I need both the page headings and the footer “reply” or “discussion” forms to vanish off the pages. This is a very small site, seven pages. I am using WP Pages rather than WP Posts. I need this to look like a standard website.
Thanks for your assistance in advance if you think of something else. These options aren’t working.

In reply to: [Responsive] evry page in menuThere is a plugin for WP that allows one to show page in menu, or suppress it with merely a toggle in the individual page edit mode.
I’ve got the same comment error problem, although I don’t use Bulletproof. I do however use Stop Spammers. This is silly. As much as I like the smooth light comment plugin from Jetpack, it continues to break for one reason or another, so I guess It’s to be disabled until further notice…
Appreciate it. Oh, you are saying it’s working with ALL the recipients. That has been my struggle. To find a form that actually does what it boasts, Email multiple recipients. Only I have 35 I need to address. Of course this morning I am locked out of my DB, and in deep deep waters for me. But I appreciate the feedback. I’ll have to look into it again when I normalize.
I’m trying to send a simple contact form but with a drop down menu using the pipe | symbol to hide 35 different choices of email recipients.
ERROR MESSAGE: Failed to send your message. Please try later or contact the administrator by another method.
I am also using SMTP via gmail which seems to work fine for other operations, so I presume this is a CF7 fail…

Any helpful hints?

In reply to: [target] LI Arrows MissingIs it possible that lurking somewhere in all these latest updates to the TARGET theme (an unusually high number of updates, I might add) is the culprit? I’m not a CSS whiz, so I just downloaded the latest upgrade hoping the fix was there because the arrows have been missing for at least a month now. Finally decided to attack the problem today because I need to roll this out soon, but I need those cute little arrows back…

In reply to: [target] LI Arrows MissingNo, that doesn’t seem to be the trouble. I loved those little critters, and want them back, but why does the new CSS for LI call for squares, and then not even post them? I’ve decommissioned ALL plugins to no avail. I have no legacy code or child code interferences, so I don’t know where the problem is coming from…
On my system, the plug-in doesn’t change date but it does shift posts. I like it the way it is, but I suppose an option to change dates could improve the performance ratio.
Took care of that, Bill. And thanks for the info. I’d been culling past plugins that “had not been tested” and now have a little more courage to test “3.2.1-working” modules that I think might benefit my sites.
Bill, you might wish to update the plug-in profile on the WP Plug-in Page which still suggest 3.2.1 is the last version of WP compatibility. I have no idea how that works. Just saying…
Okay, mea culpa. It does indeed work with WP v3.3.1. Thanks Bill for holding my feet to the fire. And I LOVE IT! Much simpler, and more to the specific task that I needed, and couldn’t find with “similar” plug-ins.
