Is Yoast compatible with PHP7.3 or is 7.4 required now?
Thanks for describing this well. It’s what I’ve experienced also – if the accept was given on a specific page and then the user went to the homepage the bar would appear again. I had to move to another plugin since I was sitting with the client seeing the behavior.

In reply to: [Advanced Editor Tools] Upper Case Roman Ordered ListThanks for the update. I can tell I wasn’t very clear on my documenting this behavior. Numbered lists that would have a prefix such as XVIII. would be showing the right-most sequence numbers due to insufficient margin in the edit-style.css. I’ve been using the twentyfourteen theme mostly. You’ve given me good insight on working through the exhibited behavior if/when I find it again.

In reply to: [Advanced Editor Tools] Upper Case Roman Ordered ListYes it is on the edit post screen – the margin isn’t showing roman numerals trailing toward the left.
Sorry about the long delay in responding.

In reply to: [Lightweight Social Icons] Requests?@staceysrecipes – I am not sure which font is specifically used. I’ve used Open Sans which has the symbol of the u with bar over. It seems to be very similar to what the tu.co network itself is using.

In reply to: [Lightweight Social Icons] Requests? One social network that I’ve been working on building my presence on is Tsu. If icon support for it could be setup that would be fantastic.

Another suggestion is to optimize the tables for your database. I had a large import of data from a source added and it took the blog back to an install status. Once the optimize was done it seems to be working well now.

In reply to: [FeedWordPress] [Plugin: FeedWordPress] Took my site downI had a problem with the install.php taking over. I looked through the support topics and saw one suggesting to optimize the tables on MySQL. So I went over to MyPhpAdmin, selected the database, checked all the tables and chose the Optimize tables selection at the bottom. Site seems to be working well now.

In reply to: Existing site hacked resulting in Install WordPress screenProbably happened because I added the FeedWordpress plugin and it yanked a bunch of new posts into the blog and likely the amount of data coming broke it coming in too fast.

In reply to: Existing site hacked resulting in Install WordPress screenHad this problem and went into phpMyAdmin for my database. Selected all the tables and the option to Optimize them.
Thanks for the heads up. The Install screen was driving me nuts.

In reply to: How to make the Pixeled theme wider ?Scrolling right-left is generally considered poor-usability. The default size works for the majority of computers… until such time that majority moves larger than 1024 pixel width. There are an increasing number of wide-screen monitors. This is one of the reasons wide-screen enthusiasts enjoy floating theme widths, specified in percentages rather than pixels.
With mobile technology advancing rapidly screen formats to accommodate these devices is the rule. Quite possible that in the not too distant future desktop and laptop computers will be overshadowed by mobile devices with graphic internet access.
