I believe it is a PHP and MYSQL version problem
you have to say and/or add info which says version 5
in the main root, crate a .htaccess with
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
AddHandler x-httpd-php5 .php
AddType application/x-httpd-php5 .php
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxand also you have to access thru the MySQL 5 , ask your Provider the access gate.
