In reply to: Language pack?It depends on the theme you’re using, tobbger. The popular Kubrick theme for example is hard coded and it won’t be enough to just install another language file. In addition, some language files are incomplete and you have to update them by yourself.

In reply to: Kubrick template in German?I’m also using Kubrick in German. The translation was nasty… the .pot file was incomplete and Kubrick is mostly hardcoded – great perspectives for an update! :->

In reply to: Plugin InstallationI agree. Plugin developers should offer their plugins as a ZIP archive including the plugin file and the documentation. In addition, plugins shouldn’t require any change of the source code or the manual creation of DB tables; the plugin should just work after activation and installation.

In reply to: Kubrick Theme and PHP 5?Yes, alphaoide, I theme can be affected by the PHP version in use because it contains a lot of PHP code. I’ll provider further information as soon as possible. It’s now in the middle of the day and I cannot do blog testing because of my visitors…

In reply to: Staticize Reloaded and StatTraq?I have not got an answer here so far but I guess I cannot use Staticize Reloaded and StatTraq together. There is no real error but I have the impression that cached pages are not counted by StatTraq. The number of hits and users has dramatically decreased since I installed Staticize Reloaded and the logical explaination is the influence of the caching.
Can anyone confirm this effect?Forum: Fixing WordPress
