Yes, you’re right, I have removed the widget from my site few hoers ago.
When I have enabled the instapress widget again, it work perfectly. No re-install, I have just pulled it again into my sidebar.

There was only one thing different:
For the first try, the instagram account was only a few hours old, and there was only one single picture.
Today, i have had more pictures in my stream.

Maybe this will help you to find a potential issue.
