I just started a new wordpress site and with 2.9.2 my permalinks work in default, but i wanted it on the month and name setting that the control panel offers. Guess it looks like this /%year%/%monthnum%/%postname%/

anyways im just trying to make new pages like “contact” or “about”

so http://www.mydomain.com/contact/ is a 404 error

but if i switch to default http://www.mydomain.com/?page_id=23 works fine

Any Ideas?
