Thanks @markwt. But if I don’t add yet the cookies into cookie list section neither in ñon necesary section.. what is happening when a user ignore the cookie bar? And what it happens if they click Reject in the same case (with no cookies added to the list and no non necesary cookies added). What cookies will be deactivated by default in this case? Or it will have no effect? I know that this is the law but i want to know this in case that I am not forced to obtain explicit consent if I use cookies that doesn’t collect personal data. (For example if I modify settings in GA to aninymize IP’s, or if I use social plugins like Shariff Wrapper that don’t use fb pixels etc. I mention that I don’t use contact forms, newsletters neither comments section. I just use affiliate links without scripts inserted in the header or body. That’s why I asked this question concerning the cookies deactivated by default because I don’t want to loose commissions if somebody ignore the cookie bar or click reject. In my opinion (after made some test) very few people actually click on Accept buttons or Reject if I add a discreet cookie bar. They will click more often only if I make a half screen size cookie bar with more text and bigger buttons, so they have to click on them to actually read the blog post. Thank you

Hi @markwt, thanks for the plugin. I want to ask you something. I installed the plugin, and created 2 button with Accept and Reject and a link Cookie Policy. In the cookie settings and in the non necesarry I don’t want to add yet anything. I want to ask you if a visitor enter the website and if they don’t click on any button (Accept or Reject) they just ignore the cookie bar… what happens with the cookies? Nothing? Or they are inactive or not added into the browser by default just by simply install the plugin? Also if they click on Reject (I mention that I didn’t add cookie info in cookie settings neither in non necesarry cookies) what is happening in this case?

I ask you this because I don’t want to add the cookies yet but I want to display the cookie notice bar with Accept and Reject buttons even if they don’t block or give access to no cookie yet. I want to be sure that the cookies are not affected somehow by this plugin and blocking them by default. Thank you.

I hope affiliate third party cookies are not affected even after I add the cookie info and someone click reject (because I think that this links are not using any script on the website..they just redirect the user to the online store) and basically my site does not place the cookie in this case. Am I right?

    Thank you.
