In reply to: [Auto-Install Free SSL – Generate & Install Free SSL Certificates] Brilliant@ags911 It doesn’t.
FYI, browsers raise alerts if any website uses some other website’s SSL certificate.
@apsipsia Our plugin is not the cause of this issue.
You have crossed the Let’s Encrypt rate limit. Please check https://letsencrypt.org/docs/rate-limits and Let’s Encrypt forum for a possible fix.
@getonlineservices This plugin doesn’t control the rate limit. Let’s Encrypt control it. Please check the following docs for more details: https://letsencrypt.org/docs/rate-limits/
If you don’t found a fix here, please check the Let’s Encrypt support forum: https://community.letsencrypt.org/
@metalsunny Just create the subdomain in your cPanel. For example http://sub.abcd.com
@kevinswalsh Please post the complete cron log as text.
@gooalgenie Sorry, we haven’t published the Premium version yet. This free version does all the automation.
However, automation depends on the cPanel API. So, with GoDaddy Managed WordPress automation won’t work.
@bozulurmu Sorry, currently there is no way to exclude mail.ekin.com.tr

In reply to: [Auto-Install Free SSL – Generate & Install Free SSL Certificates] rate limit@creekdweller Exceeding rate limit is a user-specific issue. Please check these Let’s Encrypt links for a possible fix
1. https://letsencrypt.org/docs/rate-limits/
2. https://community.letsencrypt.org/t/rate-limit-for-directory-reached/149747@mg20 If you deleted this plugin or other plugins but no success that is not an issue with or plugin or WordPress. Please request help from your web hosting provider.
Our plugin doesn’t do such redirects. It may be any other plugin that helps you to hide the default WordPress login URL.
You should not change the code in login.php.
@mg20 Please browse to your WordPress plugins directory (/wp-content/plugins) and rename or delete this directory: ‘auto-install-free-ssl’.
@geokscott Looks like you haven’t set an email to receive the cron log. If you are using cPanel, please look at the first field on the corn job page.
When I am manually trying to fetch the challenge URL:
http://autoview.com/.well-known/acme-challenge/7uivdwxr4obfLnBcmoGdZqV2XpyUy1KfPt3VIUDtO_QI got 404 Not Found error. It’s a server-side issue. Please check your frontend web server error log.
@geokscott That is not a cron log. That email is sent by the plugin directly; not through cron job.
Could you please share a screenshot of your cron settings?
@geokscott There is no log file. Our plugin sends logs through cron job. So, please set up the corn job to receive an email every time the cron job runs.
@zackai Renewal of SSL certificate actually means generating a new one. So, you need to install it every time manually. That’s why users love auto-install.
Unfortunately, SSL certificate renewal does not work like the way you have written in three steps.
