Oh, I understand now. I maximized the window and in this context background did not mean what I thought it meant (oops).
Does anyone know how to change the background behind the text (no, green isn’t what I wanted, it’s just something obvious so I could see the difference 🙂 ).
EDIT: Figured it out, the class I want is .site. My apologies.

I have this problem to, except I don’t see syntax highlighting on my blog’s homepage. It’d be really nice if I could :s
