However, I followed the instructions through phpMyAdmin – exported the database, imported into new, went to blog and still don’t see any change. In admin I see the categories but no posts. What am I doing wrong?

In reply to: Blog import not workingI’m having a similar problem. The tags import, but not the posts or media. When I look in the database, it seems to have a file for the posts, but when I open the file I only see the tags. If I open the XML file with an editor, I see the tags but no post content(should I even see the content here?) I have tried the WP exporter, but I don’t have an export button on the page. I used the Advanced Export plugin to even get this far. Everything else sounds exactly like what’s happening to flourishrob. Hope it’s ok to join on this post for help since it sounds almost the same. If not I can start a new one for myself.
