After doing a completely fresh deploy on an NGINX server that’s local, I’ve boiled it down to incompatibilities with my theme. If I change my site over to the default theme, everything seems to be working.

Ancient as my current theme is, I don’t think any WordPress site that otherwise renders well should have its static generation broken by a theme.

Something in simple_static version 3.4.6 and all versions since have resulted in a blank page getting generated.

Update: the suggested fix does not help. Firewall keeps reverting to learning mode for unknown reason.

Actually, the reverting to Learning mode seems to coincide with Wordfence’s own scanning. I’ve disabled auto scan for now, and the mode stays enabled. When I manually start a scan, I can see the firewall being reverted to learning mode within a few minutes.
