yes, subscribers and stats are back, thank you!
I haven’t seen the address switching issue in the last hour and a half. perhaps someone on your team already fixed the problem for me…
Please restore my subscribers and stats now. Thank you!
Bob, AWS hosts my server and they have absolutely nothing to do with my wordpress installation, nor your plugin, and they aren’t going to help me support your plugin’s problem..
If you can identify a problem with my server, I am all ears. Otherwise please restore my subscribers and stats ASAP. I would appreciate it greatly.
Thank you,

actually I see that URL/IP address change in the activity on wordpress.com now — I can’t explain that. nothing is being changed on the website during the time stamps that this is happening. I see it is alternating between www, non-www, and IP address… what could cause such a fluctuation?
I couldn’t find anywhere it said Jetpack was in safe mode on my end, but I don’t doubt something is still messed up there. regarding the URL and IP address, I did have a copy of the website up last week on a DIFFERENT IP address, maybe that is what you noticed? I should’ve had that copy of Jetpack in safe mode but I may not have, that is a possibility. I haven’t fired up that server since before this problem started, though, and I don’t plan on bringing it back up unless there is a major issue with the new server.
Now…
I do have the WP_HOME and WP_SITEURL defined with the proper website URL as you noted above in wp-config.php, however I did NOT have the JETPACK_STAGING_MODE line at all, so I added it as you stated and rebooted the website just now.
Hopefully it now looks like it is out of safe mode on your end, and you can restore the data.
Update: I fixed a problem with my SSL certificate chain file not being recognized and that cleared up the connection issue and the issue with publicize.
BUT… I still have over a decade of missing blog statistics. I saw on another post two days ago another person lost their stats and support was able to restore them. Can that be done with me?
I’ve noticed that in addition to stats, on Jetpack stats page it says I now have only one blog subscriber! I had hundreds previously! Can these be recovered as well?
the website is https://www.d7xtech.com
THANKS!
I’ve done that twice in fact with exactly the same result. deactivated and reactivated.
The second time I deactivated, deleted Jetpack, added it as a new plugin, and activated.
it is still missing all my stats and I have the same problem with publicize not working.- This reply was modified 4 years, 8 months ago by foolishtech.
