Thank you, I was trying to be polite and I thought this topic was along the same lines as my question. I will start my own next time but I was only trying not to clutter related topics if we were talking about the same thing. I’m new to this and was not trying to hijack anything.

Thank you Ramzijanati for your help even though I unintentionally crashed your thread.

…and yes the theme I downloaded is showing as my “Current Theme” but when I got to the blog site it isn’t linking up

I’m a rookie so I hope I am explaining this correctly but I downloaded wordpress directly into a separate installation directory mydomain.com/wordpress from my actual blog which is mydomain.com ….I’m not sure which is technically called the root folder.

Does this clarify my question at all?

I have a question along this topic as well. I downloaded wordpress from ipage to mydomain.com/wordpress and I have set up a theme that I want to show up on my actual blog site mydomain.com and I’m not sure how to get this to happen?

I already changed the settings under “General” so that the wordpress address is the mydomain.com/wordpress and the site address is mydomain.com.

What else do I need to do so that my wordpress theme is showing on my actual blog?

    Thank you!
