Thanks Manstraw for the assistance but I don’t think I’ve made it even far enough to do what you have suggested.
I have successfully installed My SQL but it is at the Administrative logon screen where I can get nowhere.
I have combed the My SQL site and can find no further information on the problem I am having so I realize that it is probably the most juvenile of problems I’m having but can’t figure it out on my own.
Obviously I know not what it is I am doing and I’m getting so frustrated.
All I want to do is backup my blog and upload it onto my domain.
Woe is me.
