Thanks to both of you. RustIndy, I’m not running my own server, but I’ve sent your email to my host service for their thoughts. And mattfast1 I think I will try out Dr. Dave’s SK2. I’ve heard / read that it conflicts with something currently — another plugin? — some part of the current WP program?

moshu, you nailed it. I apologize for even posting. I re-installed the .htaccess file and all seems well.

(I still have the oddity, though, that my rss 2.00 feed now doesn’t work (nor does the Atom feed), where it sort of did before, but my comments feed apparently works fine. Huh. I thought the upgrade was supposed to, well, upgrade the RSS feature?)

Help. I’ve just upgraded to the latest version from 1.5 because the RSS function in 1.5 had flaws… Now my feeds are completely broken! My URL is http:/www.slaw.ca Both Safari and Firefox think they’ve found my feeds (www.slaw.ca/feed and http://www.slaw.ca/feed/atom) but my newsreader (NetNewsWire simply treats the URIs as no good, and FeedValidator won’t validate them.

Is there some RSS adjustment that I should have done after upgrading? Should I have refreshed the feed somehow? (though, NNW doesn’t even see my weblog anymore, let alone the posts).

    Any help appreciated.

    Thanks, moshu.

An additional Loop? Won’t that simply replicate all the postings? I’d use the get archive template except that it links to the posts in their archive (natch). If there were a way to kill the links in the get archive list, I’d settle for that, because it’s simply a table of contents I want for the main page — ideally linked but not necessarily.

Sorry if I’m not understanding the additional Loop suggestion. Can you elaborate a little?

    Cheers,

    Simon
