Hi
So you wanted to provide a hint to the customers in the cart page that they can get a discount if they add a few more quantities to cart ?
Correct ?What if multiple rules apply for the same cart ?
As long as one rule is configured, then it is ok. However, if multiple rules apply and displaying such notices would make the cart page with more messages.
May be a switch could be provided in the rule configuration to turn on/off the hint might make the workflow clear ?
Your suggestions would help us.

You can add those promotional products to a category and in the cart rule’s condition select all categories except the promotions category.That way you will be able to exclude those special products.

You can create a customer specific discount and then send an email to the customer with a link to the product or category.
However, the discount would get visible only when he logs in the site.
It is not possible to automatically show the item with discounted price in the email.Thanks

Please update the plugin manually by downloading this time. Seems the old version has an issue with it.

Please download the plugin from here and install it.
You can even uninstall the old version and install the new version.
Your discount rules will be kept. No need to re-create them.It appears that for some reason the older version is not able to fetch the update information.
Please update to the latest version by downloading the package. From then on, the updates will be notified automatically and can be updated from your site itself.Hope this helps

I am really sorry that you feel it that way.
You can do all the basic discount rules that has been described with the free version.
Example:
– You can provide a store wide discount like Buy 5 products and get 10% discount
– A fixed price discount
– Quantity range discount (1 to 5 products, 10%, 6 to 10 products, 20%)
– Cart subtotal based discountAnd yes, the PRO version has more features. We have clearly mentioned the PRO features in the description.
I am not sure how the title is misleading.
And I see that you have posted the similar review for another discount plugin https://wordpress.org/support/topic/this-plugin-is-a-joke-3/I understand that you are expecting the free plugins to have all the features. Really appreciate it for sharing your feedback.
Regarding the UI:
We have provided a simple interface to configure the rules. As an experienced user, you might be looking for a fancy UI. But with just three steps, a non-tech savvy user can configure the discount rules. That was the intention.If you have any suggestions with the UI, we more than welcome to hear it.

There seems to be a misunderstanding. We have marked the PRO only features in the description. I guess if we add the PRO tag in the discount types section then it would add more clarity and we will do that.

At the product page, you can choose to show a table of discount. You are looking to display the discounted price (but that actually applies if purchased 6 quantities)
However at the product page, the default quantity is 1.
So it is not possible to automatically assume that the customer is purchasing 6.The number of quantity the customer purchases will only be known when he adds that much quantity to the cart.
