In reply to: [Contact Form 7] GDPR: Do I have to store the consent?Yea, I am only talking about from the 25th onwards.
I just wonder if I should store the consent. Maybe with Flamingo.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Contact Form 7] GDPR: Do I have to store the consent? But that’s impossible to proof in hindsight, isn’t it? Because the checkbox could’ve been missing before?

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] GDPR: Do I have to store the consent? You mean the consent is stored in the email itself? But that would mean I have to archive all incoming mails?

In reply to: [Redirection] GDPRAnd the rest of the plugin will behave as before? Or does that have any cascading effect? It’s literally just not seing the IP adress in the log? What about the stuff under “Referrer / User Agent”?

In reply to: [Antispam Bee] Question about “Validate the ip address of commenters”Yea this is actually what I meant, my wording was just bad.
So would you say the best course is to disable “Validate the ip address of commenters”, because from your description it seems that it doesn’t work properly?

In reply to: [Redirection] GDPR – General Data Protection RegulationIs it enough to anonymize the IP to be compliant or do we have to deactivate it?
Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Redirection] GDPRI was about to ask the same.
I think we have to anonymize the logged IPs in the options. As far as I know, this is the only change the have to make to be GDPR compliant.
The question is, do we have to disable IP logging completely, or is the anonymize option enough? It would be nice if someone could give more information about this, because it’s urgent.

In reply to: [Antispam Bee] Question about “Validate the ip address of commenters”Thanks, this was a pretty clear explanation. So if I understand it correctly, if I deactivate the public database check, it compares the comments with my local comments that are marked as spam.
Does that mean Antispam Bee will not filter anything from my contact form? Because those messages are marked as spam in my email inbox, not in WordPress.
