it solved the problem!!
in settings- Reading
It was correct to display the home page but i found the home page was in status “Pending”????? i dont really know how it changed to that , but i switched it to Published and vualá!!!

Hello George, thank you por replying.
Well everything is published! i use the regular index.php.
The weird thing is: if i log in as an Admin in the wordpress, it will show the home page!!
doesnt make sense for me!

i appreciate your suggestion, no one of both worked at all.
Feeling frustrated because this issue started since the plugin installation.
