Still looking for a solution to this.
The problem is in the css. I played around with it and found that on the X(where it should be) you can inspect element, From there click on the line above – “<img src=”http://www.stfinians.co.uk/wp-content/plugins/my-calendar/images/event-close.png” alt=”Close”>” and look at the css. In the css you will have .mc-main .details .close {….} In there tou can disable the width and whoala 😀 Just find the css file or something and delete the line or comment it out.
