you’ll have to get some links to be indexed in the search engines, but the ping plugin may also help

looks really good and the theme fits the blog topic, but I’d add some more colors to the template. It’s a bit too dark imho.
if they moved the database, just move the files and it should work, no need to reinstall WP.
