Looks like I may have figured it out. Any downside to using the following?

}

I don’t because I can’t use this feature on a live site for the time being. I’m talking about the gray box that allows you to expand events – .simcal-events-toggle
I as well am now having the same issue:
Seems strange that people have had this problem on earlier versions whereas mine has been fine regarding this specific issue with the incremental updates up to 3.0.6. It was only the 3.0.8 update that caused the date shift.
Was working for me in 2.0.6, now I’m having the same issue with 2.0.6.1
