In reply to: Since upgrade to 3.5.1, I can't login if php.ini file is presentFrankly, I don’t know. I don’t even know where that file supposed to be.
I am not even at the beginner level as far as php & WordPress is concerned. The information that I provided in my original post was what the tech support of my website hosting provider gave me.
Can you please tell me, if wp-admin is not the correct location then what is?

In reply to: Can't add new menu/sub-menu anymoreStrangely: if I create php.ini file, I can’t login to my site or access Dashboard. when I login, it accepts the password but keeps coming back to the login screen. If I remove php.ini, login works fine.
I can’t access .htaccess file.
I will try the other option.
