In reply to: [Customizr] Adding a link to the footerOkay, solved it in another way!
The credits are still in place, as it should.I simply changed some links and it’s done.

In reply to: [Customizr] Adding a link to the footerThanks emranemranx,
That is an easy way to be creative in the footer!
The next challenge is to edit the last line. Like, not showing it anymore…Checking the box for awesome font was the trick to solve my problem with the images.
Keep up the great work!

In reply to: [Customizr] Search box different on pagesThanks for the quick reaction.
Problem solved.Very happy with Customizr
I submitted the request.
And I’ll rewrite the manual for the new users and add the text to create their own gallery. The roles are okay.
Thanks for the fast answers, this will do the trick 🙂
And a screenshot of the users I created in the beginning. I in the role as webmaster created them, but changed the author, so the user got the permission the change “their gallery”

Role and Permission Management for Multiple Users
NextGEN offers fine controls for determining what permissions various users (authors, editors, etc) in your WordPress site have. You can, for example, allow authors to upload and manage their own galleries, while preventing them from touching other users’ galleries or adjusting any global settings.
But in what way I can deal with multiple users and change permissions like it’s stated here:
http://www.nextgen-gallery.com/wordpress-gallery-plugin/#rolemanagement
I always used NextGen for this, no third-party. NextGen was an all-in-one solution for the things I wanted two+ years ago.
PS: I’ve got 20 users with the possibility to let each user create their own gallery.
Thanks.
I will share my thoughts. I don’t believe this is an idea, because it was working fine the last year(s) and now it’s gone. I see it as a bug. But keep on doing a great job with NextGen. Watching forward to the next update.Well, I created the gallery as an admin, that’s true.
But I want the user to be able to change his gallery, so I want to connect the gallery to this user by changing the name of the author. This is how I did it for the other users.
When the user logs in as a participant with his personal password, he only sees his own gallery -no rights for the others- and can change whatever he wants.
But I can’t change it anymore.
No connection / editable options for the user possible?More settings: There are more screens with this option…
It’s the screen of the gallery itself where it’s said Titel / path / link to page / new page / author / etc/
This is all available, put on top I read Gallery settings (click here for more settings) and that link isn’t working.CSS: Thanks, I will try that!
