I greatly appreciate that you gave me a direction to head. I didn’t realize how complex my request was. We are gathering a bit of help in completing this part of the project…
We already have a taxonomy created and searchable that can be found and used from the back-end of the site. You are telling me that there isn’t a way to add this to the front-end Event Submission Form?
I would expect that this would be very helpful to others who use Events Manager, to have a secondary taxonomy in which to organize their events…
We would assume that we could add it to the attribute opportunity in in Events – > Settings — > General – > Event Settings – > Event Attributes/Location Attributes in a similar way we would manually add “Event Categories.”
I also believe that people create new taxonomies for their WordPress post types quite often. I don’t see why I couldn’t with Events Manager.
Someone, please help… @netweblogic / @nutsmuggler

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Space Issues on Event Posts – FrontendThis is resolved. Not sure how, but it works fine, now.
Alright. This is much more complicated than I expected. From what I gather, I need to rename the “State/County” field to just “State” (for now). Then I add a separate custom dropdown field with Tennessee counties. This may disable the use of Maps, which I can work around.
I added an Event Attribute:
#_ATT {County} (Default Anderson|Bedford|Benton|Bledsoe|Blount|Bradley|Campbell|Cannon|Carroll|Carter|Cheatham|Chester|Claiborne|Clay|Cocke|Coffee|Crockett|Cumberland|Davidson|Decatur|DeKalb|Dickso|Dyer|Fayette|Fentress|Franklin|Gibson|Giles|Granger|Greene|Grundy|Hamblen|Hamilton|Hancock|Hardeman|Hardin|Hawkins|Haywood|Henderson|Henry|Hickman|Houston|Humphreys|Jackson|Jefferson|Johnson|Knox|Lake|Lauderdale|Lawrence|Lewis|Lincoln|Loudon|Macon|Madison|Marion|Marshall|Maury|McMinn|McNairy|Meigs|Monroe|Montgomery|Moore|Morgan|Obion|Overton|Perry|Pickett|Polk|Putnam|Rhea|Roane|Robertson|Rutherford|Scott|Sequatchie|Scott|Sequatchie|Sevier|Shelby|Smith|Stewart|Sullivan|Sumner|Tipton|Trousdale|Unicoi|Union|Van Buren|Warren|Washington|Wayne|Weakley|White|Williamson|WilsonI also attempted to change it in the Location Attributes with the proper “#_LATT”
I did not find a new field when adding events in the front or back end.
Some direction would be greatly appreciated.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Add Media of ChoiceI’ve finally figured it out, and it came prepackaged in plugins! I added WP Users Media which limits users to view and use only images they have uploaded.
Thank you for your patience!
I couldn’t make it work no matter what I removed or replaced.
My husband came to my rescue and this is the shortcode that resolved my issue:
[events_calendar long_events=1 category=”272″]
I appreciate the help! I’ve changed the shortcode on the Bradley County page to:
[fullcalendar type=”event” taxonomies=”event-categories” tag=”272″]
Unfortunately, I still see all of the events on one calendar.
As stated in another topic, I attempted to change the shortcode.
From:
[fullcalendar type=”event” taxonomies=”event-categories&tag_ID=272″]To:
[fullcalendar type=”event” taxonomies=”event-categories” tag_ID=”272″]Unfortunately, it still shows all events. I am testing this out in Bradley County, but you can use Hamilton County as a referrence to what I attempted the first time.

In reply to: [WP Ultimate Recipe] Missing "Add New Recipe from text" optionOkay. Thank you. I don’t mind paying for a plugin, but I don’t want to pay before I’m sure it will work for what we want to do. I’ll enter it manually for now. Does it allow some of the other options I asked about?

In reply to: [WP Ultimate Recipe] Missing "Add New Recipe from text" optionWe usually use HTML for our sites, but I am creating this one using WordPress so that our apprentices can even use it. I’m not sure how to add an image to the recipe. I’ve just begun “Diet With Us” and we have a lot of interested followers seeking creative recipes. They need to see them because these recipes are very different than what people are used to. It needs to be set up with visual benefits.
Since I’m asking questions, is there a way to post a recipe in the middle of a blog post? I would assume it would just require a “shortcode”.
Again… seeking assistance.

In reply to: [Mingle Forum] Where is "wp-content"?Problem solved! I have been looking through my files, as they explained. We placed it in the corresponding file through FileZilla and it worked immediately! Thank you for the plug-in and the option of skins!
