In reply to: Moved blog to new domain – now not workingHi all, just thought I’d let you know that I contacted Bluehost and they updated my php to version 5.4 and it’s now solved both problems!
Thanks 🙂

In reply to: Moved blog to new domain – now not workingHi everyone, okay, I now have access to myphpadmin through Bluehost.
I have gone under the wp_ubxx_options section and the siteurl and home are both the same – my new domain name.
However, it’s still showing as a HTTP Error 500 when I try and view my website and I still cannot log into the admin dashboard – when I type in the login url it comes up with the same Error 500 message.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what the problem could be please?
Thanks

In reply to: Moved blog to new domain – now not workingI’ve just gone onto Bluehost again and into ‘WordPress tools’. It’s got my new domain name listed correctly, all my plugins and my theme is correct.
However, when I click on the ‘new install’ tab on the left all the boxes are blank for the domain (i.e. site title, admin username, admin password, admin email) which suggests that wordpress is not installed for my new domain. This might explain why I cannot log into the admin dashboard anymore.
I know this doesn’t solve the myphpadmin issue but should I install WordPress again?

In reply to: Moved blog to new domain – now not workingThanks Lisa. Yes I assume WordPress was installed as my blog worked perfectly on my previous domain name (which was hosted by Bluehost as well).
I’ll see what they come back to me with. Thanks

In reply to: Moved blog to new domain – now not workingHi Lisa,
Thanks for your reply. I have just checked. Yes, the name of the database, the user, and password in the wpconfig file all match that of Bluehost. The ‘DB_host’ in the wpconfig file is set to ‘localhost’ which is what was recommended be used in the Duplicator – or would there be a specific host name I need to use?
Bluehost have raised a ‘ticket’ on me not being able to access myphpadmin so am I guessing this is something I should wait for them to do at their end?
Is there anything I could have done wrong which would have caused this do you think?
Thanks
Jo
