In reply to: [Ultimate Tag Cloud Widget] Foreign IP's trying to hack through the pluginI’m sorry about that, there doesn’t seem to be any way to edit/remove comments. I will try to find a way to edit the comment or remove the thread completely.

In reply to: [Ultimate Tag Cloud Widget] 'Random from preset values' optionI’m not able to reproduce this bug, what version of UTCW and WordPress are you using?

In reply to: [Ultimate Tag Cloud Widget] Configureable with WooCommerce?I’m not familiar with WooCommerce but if they are using custom taxonomies you should see an option to select their tags in the widget settings. Otherwise it would require some changes to the plugin.

In reply to: [Ultimate Tag Cloud Widget] Tags all same size and overlapI think you forgot to post the link to your site. If your theme is doing something funky it might screw up how the tag cloud is displayed.
The updated version now supports multiple taxonomies per cloud

In reply to: [Ultimate Tag Cloud Widget] Foreign IP's trying to hack through the pluginIt never got anywhere, we had a quick chat on facebook but I never got any details about it. From the chat log it seems that the requested file from the alleged hackers was utcw.min.js which is a static file, so I’m not sure why they would do that at all.
For the sake of transparency, here’s all the details I’ve got:

In reply to: [Ultimate Tag Cloud Widget] Tag CombiningWhat you’re asking is to add terms with the same name from different taxonomies to one combined?
Another thread discusses another solution to multiple terms with the same name, maybe there needs to be some kind of collision/combining handling.

In reply to: [Ultimate Tag Cloud Widget] Custom Taxonomies combining tagsYou mean if you have the same term in multiple taxonomies? Like tag:whatever and category:whatever? Yes that would result in duplicate tags in the resulting cloud since to wordpress they’re different terms.
I could maybe add an option to only show unique names, but as you say, then you have to change how the tags are linked.
I have to give this some more thaught, if you have any suggestions on a solution I’m hapy to hear them..

Version 2.1 will be out shortly, I’m doing a new release today.

In reply to: [Ultimate Tag Cloud Widget] Sizes Are not RandomYes, this is by design. The setting is only for how colors should be selected, not the size. The size will always be calculated based upon how popular the tag is.
However there is a feature request for this already which you can track here: https://github.com/rickard2/utcw/pull/17
Unfortunately it probably won’t make it in to version 2.1, but maybe for version 2.2.

In reply to: [Ultimate Tag Cloud Widget] Fatal Error on "construct"The utcw.js script depends on jquery only, and should be compatible with the jquery version all the way back to 3.0.
I’ll try installing old wordpress and see for myself.

In reply to: [Ultimate Tag Cloud Widget] Fatal Error on "construct"Hi, thank you for also taking a look at this.
To me, this sounds like a PHP version incompatibility. What version of PHP are you using?

In reply to: [Ultimate Tag Cloud Widget] Fatal Error on "construct"I just tested this myself and it seems like there’s a problem with older versions of WordPress.
I’ll try to get to this issue this weekend.

There’s now a beta version of 2.1 which you can try out if you’d like. I’m using it on 0x539.se so there shouldn’t be any serious issues with it.
