i’ve seen various posts about how to do this. I put the favicon.ico file in my themes directory in the ‘thirteen’ folder, which is my theme. I also have the same file copied into the root directory. When i look for the file on my host server, it’s there, but when i type in the URL i get the file not found error as well.
It’s in the same place as this file,
http://blog.dmichaelclary.com/license.txt
that file shows up, but when i type in the ico file,
http://blog.dmichaelclary.com/favicon.ico
i get the file not found error.
