Got this off a private WP Facebook group. Hope it helps others.
Simple wp-config edit.
Prevent this extraneous install in the first place. No need to install default themes, editors, and whatnot on existing sites. Really. None. Needs to be a choice, not a default. Has WordPress considered hosting companies that offer updates, and then they’ll have to go into each one and remove unwanted stuff (or use a management program, but still)? We like to keep our installs clean and free of unused themes and plugins.

Okay so if I turn off ‘show hidden images’ the empty boxes go away. So nevermind about that!
After the update I’m having weird issues with empty boxes showing up above / below galleries. Posting here because I also use Avada.
I’ll use Avada 5x going forward, but because they completely redid their fusion builder code, I certainly would not update any existing sites with it.

At least, this problem did 😉I discovered it by clicking on the link in the Amazon bucket and got the same XML error.
I upgraded to the paid version and it works now. Thanks!

Also as noted earlier, the problem occurs with or without a slider. The menu items are not hiding, they simply don’t appear anywhere in the code.
Looking forward to your fix!Hi thanks for your response. The problem is not that the menu bar isn’t there, it is that the drop-down links do not function when this plugin is activated.
I followed your instructions deleting the plugin, downloading and reinstalling it, but the problem persists.
Dev siteIf you venture beyond the home page by clicking any link in the main menu, you can see how the drop down menus are supposed to appear. You mentioned in an earlier comment that this bug would be fixed, and I just wondered when that might occur.

Sorry I incorrectly identified my version number. It is 1.2.3 which is the same version offered now. Do you know when the updated version might become available?
