In reply to: [Simple Calendar - Google Calendar Plugin] 3.1.28 CrashedWhat I don’t understand is why this update was identified as having these problems and was still available for download for several hours afterward. My entire website is still crashed.

In reply to: [Simple Calendar - Google Calendar Plugin] 3.1.28 CrashedSame problem. And apparently the login credentials for the website that I help maintain and have now crashed have been changed, so I can’t go into FTP to fix this. Will whatever fix is rolled out require all users to be able to access their own FTP?

In reply to: [Optimizer] Problems with blog paginationUpdate: I am still having the same problem. It looks like this is a known and pretty widespread bug with a number of fixes, a number of which involve messing around with my site’s php files or the htaccess file, both of which I am very hesitant to do (I don’t know php unfortunately, which makes me really hesitant to mess around with those files).
Advice on the best way to handle this bug using the optimizer theme, given that the above fixes didn’t resolve the issue, would still be very much appreicated.

In reply to: [Optimizer] Problems with blog paginationThe issue is still there; is there a particular setting I should be using?
I am having the same problem, and went through the troubleshooting instructions as best I could, to no avail.
The only thing I didn’t try was editing wp-config to be in debug mode no the live site. I may not be understanding this adequately- so if I am not, please explain- but it seems based on what I’ve read that putting the live site into debug mode could mess with the live site, and the whole point of trying to get a staging site up and running is to *not* do that. Unfortunately I am trying to fix up a live site that someone else made, so I don’t want to risk causing significant problems on the current site, because it is actually being used. (And yes, I have my stuff backed up, but I still don’t want to crash the live site, even for a little while.)
I am also unable to access the debug log despite having admin privileges (it throws a 403 error).
