I was unable to solve the problem using the methods you suggested
the site is a hosted site and I do not have access to php.ini or the necessary files. I was unable to override the default setting with the code you suggested.

I would like to know this as well
as I need the entry to be resubmitted after it has been edited.
we capture the original form and have them entered into a database and if the telemarketer adds data later we need those updates as well.
with the telemarketer not having access to WordPress directly, when they click on the update entry a re-submission of all the data is needed.
