Ok, I’ll bother you once again: I’m trying to use the Mailpoet email sending system, and of course I need to get the “from” email approved.
This is the email of the association’s president, to which I don’t have immediate access (I’m just the volunteer webmaster!)
I suppose there’s no way of getting around the fact that I need to see this email and click on the approval link, right ?
Thx
RPYes, we are and it worked. Thanks!
Hi Bruna,
Thank you very much for the quick (and very helpful) response! Thanks to you I discovered the WordPress troubleshooting mode, which is going to be extremely useful to me going forward. It’s not activated by default even if I have WP 6, I had to download the plugin.
I found the culprit for the strange window interaction, it’s the “copy & delete posts” plugin, which I can perfectly well do without. Great catch!
I’ll try the older version and auto-import, I’m walking a bit on eggs here as I don’t want to break anything… My subscriber database is pretty clean (it’s an association with membership), so I’m confident about its relevance.
Thanks again for your help,
RP
PS: I’m following up here, as it seems I’m not quite done: I did download and install the older version (3.94.0), but it doesn’t propose any auto-import of Mailpoet 2 data. Is it hidden in some settings and I couldn’t find it?

Ok, I understand.
Do you plan make the feature available in a future update ?
Thanks

Hi,
I did, but this email address is reported as nonexistent by Office 365.
Trying again with gmail.

Hi,
Thanks for the super quick response!
I’m afraid I didn’t made myself clear enough: I know I can query on custom taxonomies, but there is no way to display them in the post!
That would be in the second tab, “Elements”: it has only the standard post fields, no custom ones. I really need to be able to do this, as I have 2 custom post types, “Activities” and “Team members”, which have their own categories. These don’t appear in the display choices.
Thanks,
RP
Ok, thanks, good to know.
I think it should be in the minimal feature list for the free version though – no option, just use the WordPress system setting. It’s in the best coding practices, as well.

Hi, thanks very much for your response.
I solved the issue by disabling the plugin from Ftp and restoring a recent backup. There’s probably a problem with the emails, I’ll checked that.
The wp-config solution is great though, thanks.

In reply to: [Simple Lightbox] Featured Images to work with SLBI had the same problem, and with me what happened is that the theme was still displaying the featured image, then SLB would display a second time.
You need to get rid of the first display, in your case I guess it’s somewhere before the code you copied.I couldn’t see the problem in the link you gave though, everything seemed normal to me.

In reply to: [Simple Lightbox] Can’t get SLB to work on featured imageHi, yes it works perfectly thank you although a bit less coding would have been welcome!
😉Any chance you’ll release a finger-swipeable version for mobile platforms in the future ? Should I add this in the github improvement suggestions ?
Thanks anyway for a great plugin!

In reply to: [DT World Clock] Month / week names not localizedThe change was done to 2.1.
The plugin is perfect now, and I said so in the review.
One very minor thing still: If you add the weekday, the first letter should be in capitals.
ie: now, you have ‘tuesday, 4 march 2021’, it should be ‘Tuesday, 4 march 2021’
This should have been covered by the php date formatting, but it isn’t !Thank you!

In reply to: [PDF.js Viewer] Default settings are not taken into accountHi, and thanks for the response.
I understand that it’s working as intended then, I can continue tweaking the defaults in pdfjs-media-button.js but you understand this is not PC behavior in WordPress!
I have to do that because content is added by non-technical people using the classic editor (Gutenberg is too complex), and they must be presented with the correct defaults – the only actions they need to do is click the button and choose the PDF.Speaking of translations, the entire front-end is localized in every imaginable language. Since it’s so easy to activate, I’m sure it would add tremendous value to the plugin if you implemented it – the back-end is irrelevant, most people can manage with english. That’s just my 2 cents!
Thanks again for a great plugin
RPHi, sorry I missed your previous reply / question!
As I said in the edits of my original post, the issue is caused by the plugin “Responsive Lightbox and Gallery” by dFactory.
I managed to solve the issue by changing a setting in this plugin: tab “Folders”, setting “Enable media folders” must be unchecked.
Thanks for the help, the topic is indeed closed.
Best,
RPHi, thanks for the quick response.
Sure, here you can see it not working on the thumbnail, then working in list view. https://youtu.be/-bC2DkVeI90
Edit: I did the test again on a test site I have, and it was working. Plus the weird display of the center column under “bibliothèque de medias” didn’t exist.
There must be some interaction with a plugin (although I have a lot of them active on the test site as well). It will be painstaking to find it, as the site is active…
EDIT-EDIT: Ok, I got it. The problem is caused by the “responsive lightbox and gallery” plugin by dFactory. Unfortunately I need to use it because I have lots of galleries and use the lightbox. I’m a bit stuck here!
Could you help? Thanks
