Sorry about the wait! We’ve seen a surge in support requests lately.
It seems like the theme you are using has some modifications built in for The Events Calendar , there’s not much troubleshooting we can do on our end besides suggesting to make sure The Events Calendar and your theme are up to date. The theme developer may have suggestions or a fix for this.
The theme seems to be kicking a JS error:
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'offset' of undefined at HTMLDivElement.<anonymous> (default.min.js?ver=5.1.1:6)Testing for Conflicts can also be useful for diagnosing things like this.

You can edit the permalink slugs under Events > Settings.
Each event’s permalink can be modified while adding/editing it just like a normal post or page. Here’s a good permalink tutorial > https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-create-custom-permalinks-in-wordpress/

It seems like the theme you are using has bundled some customizations for The Events Calendar.
Under Events > Settings > Display, can you select default events template and see if that helps?

Are you using the classic editor or the new block editor?
Under Events > Settings, do you have “use block editor” enabled?

Are you able to delete the-events-calendar plugin folder and manually upload a fresh version from here > https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/
Sounds like something may have gone wrong with installation.

Sorry about the wait! We’ve seen a surge in support requests lately.
We use custom post types for adding events, so the process is pretty much the same adding info to posts or pages. You can easily add images and links to whatever media you’d like.

I’m unable to see the map for myself since your site seems to be in maintenance mode.
Is the venue you are using added to Google’s directory? Using the name and address of the venue should match it with the correct business.

We use the existing WP DB tables to store info for our plugins so I’m definitely curious as to what that table contains.
