You have to put your pictures in the EXACT folder (or directory) on your website that you have their addresses on your webpage.
What occurs when someone visits your site is that their browser also locates the pictures to load onto your webpage. If places on your webpage where the pictures are to appear have the wrong addresses or locations for your pictures – yes – you’ll see the red square and no picture.
You might have something like this: c://computer/user/my documents… referenced on you webpage – which does mean that YOUR browser will find your pictures, but not a visiter to your webpage.
Make sure that if you have an “images” folder (or something like it) on your site so your images on your page are in there – and that the same address or location is where your pictures should be on your page – on your website.
