So I have removed a bunch of events from the Google calendar. When I click refresh I do not see any differences and it always continues to spin and never complete. it just never seems to be right. Also, the list of events in WordPress admin panel do not reflect the same events that are showing on the events page where the calendar if displaying. This is really not making much sense and not sure if something is really out of place here. I do not think that it is the max execution time at this point because it looks like it is just not updating correctly now. Maybe this is caused by the previous max execution time issue and now just way out of sync? also when I look at the tables in PHP my admin it is showing 3432 records in the events table and when I look at the total number of events in the admin events view it is showing a total of 3261. Then there is the events instances table which is showing 23856 records… please let me know if that is really off and why there would be so many instances. I really just need to get this fixed and we are limited to the 60 seconds of max execution time by the host so please give me a solution that I can work with here.

    Thanks,

Thank you for getting back with me, Ben.

I have talked to our hosting provider wpengine.com and they said that on shared hosting they can’t adjust the max_execution_time parameter but that it is currently set to 60 seconds. They also said that they have a script that runs on the server to kill any process that runs longer than 60 sec. So seeing how this is not going to really solve the issue can you explain to me how Time.ly calendar gets the feed. Does it look as far back and as far in the future as possible and pulls everything in initially. And then how does it deal with updating does it check everything again and see if there are changes? I just want to know if maybe we need to delete all our old events and only set our reoccurring events to be set to 3 or 4 months out so that we do not have as many so Time.ly and still bring the events in without getting killed in the middle of it.

If there is a good way to go about this and if you have a good explanation on how it deals with the events and updating that would be very helpful in us deciding on what to do going forward.

    Thanks in advance!

Thank you! I was not aware that there was another thread. Again much thanks!

OnsbjergLilleskole What you are seeing is basically that same problem. What I have found is happening is that it is able to call to the Google Calendar Feed but it does not get the Time and Date information so all of those events that you now see in the Time.ly events list will not show up on the Time.ly calendar because there is no date for them to show up for. My understanding is that Time.ly is aware of the problem and are working on getting it fixed. Hopefully they will give us an update here in the near future as to when they will be able to get this done. This is a pretty bad issue and there a a bunch of people effected by it I would assume they are working hard right now to deal with it. Keep checking back to see if anything new comes up and keep looking to see if there is a plugin update for it. Hope this explanation helps a little bit.

    Cheers,

Well I am having the same issue here. I am running WordPress 4.4 and Time.ly 2.3.4. I have Google Calendar feed that I am pulling events from and have everything set up to be public but when the events are pulled into the Time.ly plugin they do not have the start end date and time or wether it is an all day event or not. I have really been hoping to see a solution for this but still waiting as many of you are. Please Time.ly could you provide us with an idea of when you will be able to address this issue.

    Thanks,

I am having these issues now as well… I see that these were posted 8 months ago… Is there anyone who was able to find an answer to this?

    Hey,
yes I can provide you that.
I had taken the plugin off because I could not get it to render correctly.

If we can work on getting it figured out I will put it back on the Right SideBar.

the URL right now is vermontskiandride.com
we will be switching the domain name in the coming week so if you are not able to get to it at vermontskiandride.com just try the variation vtskiandride.com.

Let me know if you need any other info or need to take a deeper look.

    Thanks!

Hey my day is going well, thank you for asking. How are you doing today?

So I followed the flow chart for troubleshooting. I changed the theme to the WordPress default Twenty-Fifteen theme, and turned off all other plugins. I went to the Membership 2 Memberships list and tried to click on the edit link and it brings me to a page that is blank.
the url that it is bringing me to is this (if this helps) =

    http://vermontskiandride.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=membership2&step=edit&tab=details&membership_id=214

So at this time Changing to a known working theme and turning off any plugins has not resolved the problem. The flow chart makes a mention of the .htaccess and wp-config.php files which I would not be sure what to be looking for in them. I have not done any alteration to the site through FTP on the server so the install should be set the way it was originally.

In addition to symptoms that could help you determine a problem I probably should mention something I thought was funny during the beginning of installing this plugin. I had installed it and the Memberships plugin had made the Membership pages and then when it said that membership 2 is ready and available I said i agree or something and it upgraded it to membership 2 and when I went back to the pages in WordPress it showed that there were 2 sets of membership pages created and I just deleted one set of them. So maybe this plugin could have corrupted somethings??? Let me know what you think. Really looking to get this resolved as we are wanting to launch this site in like the next 2 weeks and if I can’t get this part out of the way we are going to be really behind schedule.

I appreciate all you help!!! Thanks!
