In reply to: NextGen Images Not Opening in ViewerIt suddenly seems to be working again. I messed around quite a bit with the settings. Then I just checked it again, and everything was working fine…weird. I’m very happy though. I love the whole concept of clicking on a thumbnail and then being able to advance full-sized images frame by frame.
I could have sworn that my php limit was 64m For some reason, it looks like it was bumped down (don’t even know if that’s possible) to 32m.
Found php.ini file within directory and changed memory limit from 32m to 64m.
Then for some dumb reason I changed GD Library to ImageMagik…probably desperate attempt to fix problem.
At any rate, set graphic library back to GD Library within options and increased PHP Memory to 64 from 32 within the php.ini file.
Doesn’t explain why all of a sudden thumbnails stopped loading, and I thought memory limit was set to 64M already. Oh well, all’s well now.
Directions for increasing PHP Memory Limit on Bluehost.
https://my.bluehost.com/cgi/help/memory?step=memoryTried disabling Flash Uploader…still doesn’t work.
Thank you! Thank you! THANK YOU!!!
I created a new folder for the images. I then went into options and changed the default gallery location to that new folder, and the thumbnails were created with no problem!I figured I’d try a different photo gallery until I got this figured out. Nothing really appealed to me. Many were very slick, but none had that simple interface that loaded quickly.
Thanks again for the help!
I’m able to manually create thumbnails and load them myself.
NextGen is able to create the thumbnails folder but it is no longer able to create the thumbnails.
Once I create and upload the thumbnails adding thumbs_ as a prefix, the gallery works great.
Tips for fixing this issue will be appreciated.
