Hi @zefrem23,
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. The shortcode looks fine. If you view the donation in the admin, do you see the gateway transaction ID in the “Donation Details” meta box?
Cheers,
EricHi @sannadigital,
Those bits are part of the Born to Give theme — check the translation strings for the theme. They should be there.

EricNoted @jdembowski — sorry about that! I’d just grabbed the link from the reviews page I was on.
Cheers,
EricGreat, glad we were able to help you resolve that @gseurope!
If you get a chance, could you write a short review about your experience with Charitable?

Thanks for the review @dgprevette — glad we’ve helped make you look good. 🙂

EricThanks @hamurette — that’s awesome to hear!

EricHi @gseurope,
It sounds like this could be a theme issue. Could you get in touch with us via https://www.wpcharitable.com/support/?
Another thing to check is if you’re using any of the shortcodes, like the [campaigns] shortcode, double-check that there are no <code></code> or <pre></pre> tags around them. If there are, try removing those.

Hi @perfectword7,
The modal form is not a pop-up form in the sense that it will automatically appear or pop up.
The [charitable_donation_form] shortcode will show the donation form directly on the page, not in a modal — regardless of the Display Option you have chosen.
What you could do instead is add a Donate button, which when clicked will open up the donation form in a modal. To do that, you’ll need to add a little bit of code:
https://github.com/Charitable/library/blob/master/donations/add-donate-button.php
See https://www.wpcharitable.com/documentation/3-ways-to-add-code-customizations-to-your-site/ for a guide to adding bits of code like this.
Once you’ve added that code, you can show a Donate button that opens into a modal with this shortcode:
[charitable_donate_button campaign_id=828]

EricHi @daass,
Could you get in touch via our support page and let me know how you added this snippet? Happy to take a look.
Cheers,
EricHi @daass,
I’m afraid I don’t understand. How would the donor donate without a donation form? Could you describe how this would work?
Cheers,
EricHi @ahuertaisla,
Thanks for updating your rating! If possible could you delete the review altogether? Even though 3/5 isn’t bad, it does bring down our average rating which is 4.9+.
Cheers,
EricHi @verdugo41,
Email verification is required for a few things in Charitable. Viewing past donations is one, and creating campaigns (using Charitable Ambassadors) is another. You can configured Ambassadors to only require users to create their account after they have submitted their campaign though.

EricHi @penweaver,
Paystack is on our radar as a gateway we’d love to support, but we we don’t have an integration yet.
Cheers,
EricThanks @leenient for the great review!
