I figured it out, I used this in a text widget: (without the spaces)
< a href=”http://yoursite.com/wp-login.php?action=register”>REGISTER< / a >
< a href=”http://yoursite.com/wp-login.php”>STUDENT LOGIN< / a >
< a href=”http://yoursite.com/wp-login.php?action=logout”>LOGOUT< / a >
I figured out what the problem was.
I had the Default Role for New User (under the role options) set to subscriber.
