I guess I am missing something! Haha! I am very new to WordPress. I am not seeing how to assign a post to a category page?

Is is possible to apply any edits (child theme, etc) to allow posts to automatically appear in both places?

I did go to the dedicated forums to ask. The original style.ccs is readable. It is so strange. It happened when I originally tried to write my own child theme, too. I believe that I am saving them to the correct place (in the root level of wp-content/themes). Could the issue be outside of the code?
