After reading this I installed the Jetpack plugin. At least this is a workaround.
I’m having the same issue.
I disabled it the plugin, but now we’re missing the SEO stuff.
I went back to a previous version of our theme, just to rule it out, but it didn’t work.
I also disabled W3 Total Cache, but that wasn’t the solution.
Too bad. Really liked the idea to use categories as hashtags.
