In reply to: [Plugin: WordPress.com Stats] WordPress Stats – blowing out my pagesThis was the only post I could find about the small smiley in the upper left hand corner in the forums. I get the smiley as well, but, I have some differences. It occurs on my front page, occasionally. (http://www.ai.edu/ or http://aquinas01.ai.edu) I’ve checked the source and the only images I can find are ones I expect to be there. There is an image of the smiley. Below is the code generated (in case I missed something). Also, the image starts out large (about 150-200 px square) and then reduces in size to something about 10px square. The page does not blank out. I am concerned that this is a vulnerability in WP that has of yet been addressed.
I’ve included, below, the source code, in case I missed something. I am very concerned about this and would like to get an answer on this as to whether it indicates that my site has been hacked.

In reply to: [Plugin: WP-dTree] Update to 3.5 erased all excluded post IDsI agree with RavanH. It seems that all the options are wiped out when updating. It seems to me that the options, if they exist in the database, should be brought forward automagically when an update is applied. Saving the “wp_dtree_options” to a temporary table and then restoring the values after the new wp_dtree_options should be enough to do that. (This would work even if the structure of that table changes, in that the SQL statement can be created on the fly.)
Thanks for your work at maintaining and improving this product. It has been of great help to me! (Do you like an used books?)
