In reply to: Confused. 500 – Internal server error.Okay one of two things appear to have fixed this issue.
Firstly I changed my server OS from Windows 2008 to Apache 2.2. This seemed to get me a stage further where my database could be found but not accessed.
The next stage was a simple typo and I now have WordPress running.
It appears that WordPress does not like Windows 2008 server.
