In reply to: plug-in Tumbler on SidebarSorry, I asked a question that I could do myself. But that leads to another problem.
My site is tokyohomeopathy.jp Ignore the Japanese please.I put the code for my picture and my text in the text box and it looks ok. But the text itself looks terrible. Being Japanese characters, they are detailed so this lack of detail makes them really difficult to read. Maybe I should fit my picture to the sidebar.
Everything looks worse in explorer and chrome on my xp computer and better on my Mac 0s x 10.6The side bar does not seem to recognize code like
What can I do to make it look better?
Thanks,

In reply to: Upgrading wordpress fix mistakes in SEO code?Jkovis, thanks for looking at my code. I asked on the Thesis forum for where to find the code so I think I am going to be able to repair it.
Hopeful,

In reply to: old wp-config.php lostYou are right. I was sure that I read to copy over. So, I bow to the gods of codex.
What does it mean to run an upgraded script? Where do I do it? I read the extended instructions about running ….. but it fit into nothing that is familiar to me.
I am about to re-do the upgrade. This time right I hope. Hope you can tell me what running a script means. Or at least what I do.
Thanks for all your help.

In reply to: old wp-config.php lostI am on the .org site. So I have to upgrade manually. Sob. This is the second failed try.
In another codex, I found that you should not copy over your old files. I copied over. Maybe I can just erase those folders that I copied over and try FTPing again without doing all the prep that I did for this most recent attempt.
Thinking back over it, I just copied over folders (except the content folder) so maybe I did not erase my old wp-config-php or the other files that should have been with it. I don’t remember seeing a bunch of files outside the folders. Still maybe that is the mistake.
I am thinking rather than do this hassle for my other site that I am about to put up, I should just put a site on my cpanel with fantastico. I think that might be easier. Anyone have experience?

In reply to: old wp-config.php lostThanks Emi. I didn’t even think of that. So there is some other cause for the failure to update.
I did not run wp-admin/upgrade.php. What do I do. Sorry to be so dense. I looked on my dashboard, but apparently there is something more to do. Codex says I should get it when I login.
