Thank you for your reply. Actually I was trying to figure out a way to display the date together with the title on the slider. As I realised that this option wasn’t available at the slider mode I thought that I could do it by choosing the display title + few chars from the excerpt option with a limited chars limit. But in order to achieve this I need to be able to remove the “Read more” message and customize the style of the excerpt displayed. I hope I was clear this time.

I am sorry I think I wasn’t very clear. I want to do this at the slider option where the custom read more option is not available.
