My site was also recently hacked into and now Appearance, Plug-ins, are missing from the dashboard. Not sure if it’s related but I did attempt the 2.9 upgrade just prior to this mess.
I’ve read the instructions on adding themes, which says this
“upload the new folder (with the files left inside) to the themes directory of your blog, which is located within the wp content directory.”
wp content > themes
where is wp content directory and how do i get to it?
I can easily create a poll in a post- how do I do it in the sidebar?
just moved over from blogger- I must be really dumb- can you walk me through posting links? I’ve created several links in the Dashboard under blogroll category-now what? I read somewhere that I am supposed add them to sidebar? How?
