i don’t know if there is a solution for that, probably some kind of hack or enhancement in the future but in the meantime, you can create a category just for private posts and make sure you put the password in each one and assign each one to that category… the only problem with that is that the title of your entry will still show up.
oh, it’s not automatic. you have to insert the code with every picture. i just started my blog so i had no existing pictures. it’s manual.
