I think I fixed it! I guess cPanel’s mail client’s outgoing server address had changed at some point. Copying that over to WP Easy SMTP results in no more errors. I have to check and make sure that the emails are actually being forward to the gmail account and that everything is kosher, but if I do not update, assume it’s fixed!
