    Same case happen to me, I hv uploaded the themes files & it appears on my freeweb>filemanager>wpcontent/themes. But when I logged in to my wordpress & clicked on “presentation” the new theme uploaded is not there.

    Same case with wp-o-matic, I hv successfully uploaded via filezilla n can be seen on my freeweb>filemanager>wpcontent/plugins, the file is just right there. But when I checked to my wordpress & clicked on “plugins” the wp-o-matic file is not there to activate.

    Can you do me a favor pls?

    Note : all the files (theme & wp-o-matic) to be uploaded via filezilla is unzipped already, so it’s a direct folder to the files contained

    Hi Mercime,

    Finally my problem solved already. All I hv to do is to log in to my freeweb & click on “Application installler” then fill in the target directory, select “wordpress”, then click on “install now”, done 🙂

    I uploaded the themes via ftp filezilla n when opened the file manager I saw the themes files already there in “wp-content/themes” directory yet I didnt see it when I logged in my wordpress >presentation>theme. My WP version is 2.8.4 & the themes file is compatible for version WP 2.6+. 2, since my WP version is higher, should there be problems installing the themes?

    Hi, same case with me here, I clicked on Presentation > Theme, it shows me this statement :

    “Get More Themes

    You can find additional themes for your site in the WordPress theme directory. To install a theme you generally just need to upload the theme folder into your wp-content/themes directory. Once a theme is uploaded, you should see it on this page.”

    I downloaded & extracted the themes then uploaded them to my database via filezilla to directory “wp-content/themes”. But I dont see the newly uploaded themes when I open the page Presentation > Theme.

    Pls help.

    I read a source from a book I bought sometime ago that it supports wordpress installation n I had created database on my freeweb account. But so far I hv not bought a domain name. Do I hv to firstly buy one?
