I do not have any alternative log in plug ins, about 6 months ago there was a problem with a plug in (PayPal payments) which triggered support somewhere (perhaps WooCommerce) and they provided a temporary 1 day log in which enabled me to access the wordpress dashboard and deactivate/reactivate the affected plug in.

The problem has worsened this morning in that I can no longer reach the login page for wordpress so I cannot deactivate any plugins, or access the wordpress dashboard at all. My network solutions console does provide a function to reinstall wordpress, but I have no idea as to what this will do (will it reinstall all plugins I was using?, preserve all customer and order data, etc?

I cleared my cache using the original browser MS Edge, still had problem. I then installed and tried Chrome. It was a bit better but still constantly logging out. I was able to update two plugins which had not auto updated but these did not resolve issue. I ran health check with no issues

I tried to deactivate PayPal Payments which I suspect may be the problem but it would not take. Each time i clicked on deactivate it took me to the login and did not deactivate. I was able to deactivate Google Analytics. I know in the past I was provided an alternate login mechanism good for 1 day. Is that possible. Also is there a way to deactivate a plug in using FTP
