In reply to: Javascript/jQuery Troubles (Smooth Marquee)How would you go about doing what it says at the bottom of the page, I tried changing all the dollar signs to dollar signs + ‘j’ and adding the wrapper it gave but all it did was remove the feed entirely from the page.

In reply to: Javascript/jQuery Troubles (Smooth Marquee)Here’s the header.php file that the Java is set up inside, from inside the theme. That’s all I’m using to render it, and I’m guessing that’s wrong… Either way, all the features that were created using the Remy Sharp plugin as per the tutorial don’t work in WP:

In reply to: Javascript/jQuery Troubles (Smooth Marquee)I’m afraid it’s not live yet, but I’ll do my best. Here is the HTML that I originally coded (slightly messed up the rest of the site from fiddling with the css, but the twitter feed is there): http://www.gamefront.com/files/21917872/NewDesign.zip.
What I did in the WordPress is copy the code exactly from the HTML to the WordPress theme, although I’m guessing it’s wrong. In the HTML, you can see how the feed stops when hovered over and also looks quite smooth, both of these aspects are lost in the WordPress theme. I hope that’s enough?

In reply to: Theme Problems in Firefox/OperaI found that removing the float on the #banner div fixed the entire problem, for some reason. Thanks for all your help!

In reply to: Theme Problems in Firefox/OperaI’m not actually, I might try that, but why would it cause such great problems as in the images I posted above?!

In reply to: Theme Problems in Firefox/OperaJust another quick update, I’ve managed to fix the problem with Opera with some heavy CSS workarounds, but the padding/margins seem to be twice the size on Opera than that of other browsers.. Anyone know why this is? Also, I’m still looking for some help for the above problem, since I have no idea what is going on.

In reply to: Theme Problems in Firefox/OperaAlright, I’ve been through the process and fixed all the problems that I can see related to the header, but no luck. I’ve included some screen shots below to aid the process.
The first is of firefox, which shows how it renders there (wrong, obviously) and the second is of chrome, where it renders correctly:

In reply to: Theme Problems in Firefox/OperaHow can I do that? I’m sorry for sounding so stupid, and probably doing what you experienced guys would consider wasting your time :-/.
