Otto, I saw the version at the bottom of the dashboard page. That feature must still be intact, it is now reading the new version 2.1.2 on my dashboard page.

Thanks 2fargon, my constant re-naming of the folder — “the vicious circle” — wasn’t working. I seem to have not “sent” the many folder re-namings to the server. Duh. I did it again and now it is working. I am pathetic. Please forgive my pathetic ass.
Anyway, please enjoy the proper formatting…

In reply to: Safe to rename directory where WP is installed in?Hello:
I just tried the instructions above, but modifying the WordPress and Blog addresses makes the browser then try to modiy something in the NEW folder (i.e. the folder which hasn’t been re-named yet). The instructions given above don’t work.
SO, am I to go ahead and change the name of the folder BEFORE updating administrative options, or is that going to screw things up? (I have done much work already.)
Thanks in advance!Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: Header OK Safari, Netscape – not ExplorerAh, that must be for PC. (At least it’s working on PC’s!) Mac IE only goes up to 5.2.3, which I’ve got installed on Mac OSX, and no luck. Any Mac users out there to lend a helping hand?
